Can someone help me out with a problem that I am having trying to install RPM's, everytime that I install I get a message: Error - Following packages haven't been found on the medium: <9> I am currently using Suse 10.1 <3> freddy, how are you doing it? <9> Through konqueror <3> you right click the RPMs and select to install? <9> no... I left click and then I prompted to install rpm file, then asks for root p***wd <3> ok <3> what are the RPMs? HAve you configured in yast some installation source? <9> No... I haven't configured in yast an installation source... I downloaded an rpm file and wanted to install that... <3> well, maybe that rpm needs other rpms that are not in your system, or that rom you downlaoded is not for suse <3> the preferred method of installing rpms is using yast., as it will solve the depedecies of your rpm <9> Actually I logged into opensuse.org and looked for the file there... <3> which file is it? <9> I haven't tried through Yast <9> helix engine for amarok <3> freddy, that is installed if you do a default kde installation, I believe <3> you dont have amarok and amarok-helix installed? <3> how did you install suse? CDs? <9> That's what I thought but, the only engine that appears is xine <7> anyway, gn8 <9> And that won't play mp3's <3> yeah
