<0> Google is my friend :-) <0> Probably a Plesk issue. <0> Thanks anyways, guys. <2> can anyone help with the p***ive ports option <2> im trying to set to it 50000-60000 <2> but <2> for some reason it doesn't want to work and picks its own ports every time regardless of my settings <3> hello <4> 'lo <3> how can i do it <3> that proftpd only allowed connect users that stands in ftpd.p***wd <3> and all systemaccounts can't connect? <4> don't know it right away now since I'm at work, I can take a look later when I get home. <3> okay thanks Laban <4> I think it has something to do with AuthOrder or AuthType, something like it. <4> AuthOrder mod_auth_file.c <3> okay <3> why can't i upload something? <3> i am using authuserfile <4> Does the user have the right to write in that directory?
<3> i don't know <3> where can i set it <3> is it possible <3> that the owner from the upped files isn't the uploader? <3> Laban, ? <4> You mean how to change owner of the file you just uploaded? <4> No idea <5> some script? <5> which acts like a 'tail' to xferlog and chowns everything you want? <5> or maybe some plugin to proftpd <6> Hm, I am using ftp***wd to add a user... and I added a user and made a folder 777 ... and when that user upload it's a file, it is : -rw-r--r-- 1 1342 1342 49473 2006-07-29 19:19 startup.log ... I can only allow this user to upload a file when perms are 777. Is there anyway to make it so he is in the group and can upload at 775? usermod -G www-data 1342 <6> usermod: user 1342 does not exist <6> Says that... hm <5> r u sure its 777? <6> what? <6> The folder now is, yes. <6> thresh: You still with me? <5> no <5> i prefer girls <5> you can try playing with umask <6> thresh: hm, that doesn't look like it does the trick
