<0> ty for your help
<1> bengrubb, $_SESSION[username] must be $_SESSION['username']
<2> I have a cl*** here ! http://pastebin.com/726146 How could I use the variable $this->id in the function arata ?
<0> thats what i told my IPT teacher but no it actually works
<0> it was news to me
<0> but it does work
<1> you can add error_reporting(E_ALL); at start of your script to see that kind of error
<1> no quote for E_ALL because it is a constant
<2> http://pastebin.com/726146 How could I use the variable $this->id in the function arata() ?
<3> zoyd_: did the url i provided help you?
<4> can someone help me with mysql
<2> yes
<2> <4>
<5> tdd1984, go http://php.net/mysql
<6> hi all.. just wondering if someone knows about something like the C/C++ macro's for PHP? We have to circumvent PHP5's broken static inheritance model a bit..
<4> ace_me: you very good with mysql

<2> no ! I just want to help you
<4> lol thanks man
<2> :) np if you don't try
<7> #Anyone here good with regular expressions
<7> I am having problems with this:
<7> $text = preg_replace('/(<img .*)("|\'| )>/i','\\1\\2 />',$text);
<7> It is supposed to take <img ...> and make it <img ... /> to make it XHTML compliant. It works but is a bit buggy, as in when the <img tag is next to another like this: <br><img> it seems to miss it out
<7> Any suggestions as to a solution that may work?
<2> anyone good with cl***es ?
<6> ace_me: sorta
<2> 1 sec to paste
<2> http://pastebin.com/726166
<2> I don't know how to use $son and $ id in the cl*** ! I initialise as: $doc = new Documentation($id, $son, $session->userlevel); $doc->arata();
<6> gary: s/<img([^>]*[^\/>])>/<img$1/>/ sorta
<6> hmmm pastebin is kinda slow atm here
<2> any other site gmc ?
<6> $id = $this->id; <== i think you mean $this->id=$id; ??
<7> hmmm
<8> peerless, http://pastebin.ca/57047 are the same both?
<2> oh yes
<0> whats a secure way of closing every session?
<0> session_destroy ?
<0> session_destroy();*
<9> yes.
<0> whats the difference between that and session_unset()
<6> isn't session_unset used to unset variables in the session?
<10> pitillo, lines 1,2 and 3 are garbage - you are creating an array with an element called main that has an empty value - i don't know if the interpreter will notice the extra characters after that, but they are in the wrong pace. you have a coma but no more array elements. Even if the array statement was correct, its just creating an array, and is in no way anything like calling readfile
<0> i think session unset can unset individual variables and sessions right?
<11> yes
<6> session_unset only operates on the variables afaics..
<6> session will still be open
<11> just unset($_SESSION['foo'])
<8> peerless, well, forget the array... and take a look to the index.php?rf and the last line. I mean if that was the same.
<6> anyway, no-one with an idea of how to lexicographically include a piece of code into a php file?
<10> pitillo, something strage about pastebin there, the quote marks " are in different places in the edit box and the html
<0> actually stuff unsetting how can i close the dam session
<11> bengrubb: this is explained in the manual, php.net/sessions
<0> thats what im on
<0> im trying it
<0> but no workies
<8> peerless, sorry, Im connected to home by vnc and its a bit slow. I paste some lines of the array, but the important line was the one I tell you, the index.php?rf and the last readfile()
<10> the rf is just puts a value in your $_GET array
<10> it isn't going to load the file or anything, unless you php file does that
<10> my english is pretty crap tonight too, and its my only language
<8> peerless, well, , I did it with the ?rf and get the html inside the php... with readfile only can see the html. Thanks for your patience. people like you make this free world better :)
<10> lol
<8> :)
<4> any one good with mysql?
<12> gmc: hm_
<12> ?
<10> tdd1984, as away
<10> ask away
<12> tdd1984: #mysql
<12> now.
<4> the channel is dead lol
<6> as in, i am good with mysql
<12> !+g8
<13> Guideline #8) SQL Q's: #sql, #mysql or #postgresql. Apache Q's: #apache. Linux Q's: Either #yourdistro, #linuxhelp or #linpeople. HTML/CSS/JavaScript Q's: #web. Just because some other channel is 'dead' does NOT mean you can ask here.
<0> why do i get Warning: session_destroy(): Trying to destroy uninitialized session in /var/www/virtual/theclang.com/htdocs/notices/logout.php on line 2 my whole code is <?php session_destroy() ?>
<10> lol

<0> arg dannut
<0> yay for dam spam..
<12> bengrubb: do you do session_start() in the beginning of the page?
<6> bengrubb: because you didn't session_start() ?
<0> so i need seeion start even on a logout page?
<0> session*
<12> bengrubb: yes
<0> oh ok
<0> cook
<0> cool*
<0> arg dam eating and typing
<4> I'm trying to create a table with title, description, date submitted, location, but I want the useres that visit my webiste to be able to post a ad to the table, but it automatically delete the table after 7 days from the database
<0> Ty stormchaser, gmc,styx_ & peerless
<10> tdd1984, as the bot said, probably not best to spam this channel, but you have several peoples attentions now, so go ask again in mysql (i am there now)
<0> and everyone else for listening
<12> tdd1984: I *HAD* warned you. It's not my fault, if you can't listen. Now go to #mysql.
<6> anyone feel at home in the zend source code??
<12> zend framework?
<8> peerless, http://lokalix.dyndns.org/pphp/ fighting with this (its in spanish) bit a bit we try to make it better, and we?ll try to make a little project to get a little and modular php site.
<12> !+g7
<13> Guideline #7) No spam, bots, scripts, trolls, job postings (no job posting / asking for jobs on ##php. You might want to check out: ##php.jobs http://www.geekfinder.com, http://www.monster.com, http://www.rentacoder.com or http://www.getacoder.com, or php.net/links, "Developers and Job Opportunities"), advertisements or onjoin/away/back messages.
<6> Stormchaser: i'm looking for where zend is reading the php files..
<6> in the actual c code that is
<12> gmc: hm? That question doesn't make much sense...
<14> Hi
<11> gmc: the lexer?
<14> Can anybody help to debug a supposed simple configuration problem?
<11> omgs: ask
<6> Stormchaser: hmm care to explain why not? first time i dig into php's source
<6> aidan: probably (zend_language_scanner.c seems like the place on first sight)
<14> aidan: http://nave-stage.escomposlinux.org/productos/extensiones/adblockplus/
<8> sorry for put that link.
<11> omgs: what about it? where's your code
<14> aidan: of course, I can show you the code
<11> omgs: you're doing a foreach on something that isn't an array, var_dump it
<14> But in another server, that code works ok, without error
<14> I guess it's a difference between php 4.3.x and php 4.4
<11> could be
<14> That server has that version, but I don't know how to fix it
<14> I mean, it runs php 4.4
<15> is it possible to declare method arguments as final in php5?
<11> making the method final means the arguments can't be changed
<11> omgs: var_dump the array you're trying to iterate
<7> I'm having some problems parsing and changing HTML to XHTML. I can get it to change <img...> to <img .../> without a problem, but when there are two next to each other only the second one is changed. e.g: <img...><img.../> is the result. The code I am using is:
<7> $text = preg_replace('/(<img .*)("|\'| )>','\\1\\2 />',$text);
<7> So once again, just want to make it Xhtml complient
<15> aidan i didnt mean it that way, declaring an argument as final makes it constant throughout the method execution in java
<16> gary, your regex is greedy
<16> seeing the two tags as just one
<7> ok
<7> hmmm
<16> not sure how to make it less so though
<11> Raevel: no, you can't final a variable, I can't see why you'd need to
<7> got to be something to do with the > in the code
<7> maybe it should be />
<16> uhmmmmm, you probably want to remove the .*
<15> aidan i don't *need* to, it might just save you some sweat though, because you'll get an exception if you try to modify it
<16> something more along the lines of /<img(w+)>/i
<15> i don't need to use oop at all, but it's useful
<12> $text = preg_replace('/(<img .*)("|\'| )>' <-- missing end /
<10> pitillo, yeah, thats eskimo to me
<11> Raevel: I can't imagine why it would be useful, but no, you can't do it in php
<7> Stormchaser: sorry, what do you mean?
<8> peerless, eskimo?
<7> you mean it should be />
<15> aidan the same way as static typing arguments is useful
<16> nah, / right at the end
<16> to close the regex
<7> oh right
<15> it's easier to detect bugs
<7> the other version I had but edited was this:
<7> preg_replace('/(<img .*)("|\'| )>/i
<7> but I wasn't sure what the /i was
<10> pitillo, :) just a way of saying a very obscure language
