<2> The difference between 2 and 3 is astounding, too.

<14> hey guys
<14> help, i'm using Time::HiRes qw (gettimeofday) and localtime() to get the time. i'm using it in a infinite loop... however if i change the timezone (which can be some hours of difference) the time doesnt change with both functions, how is that possible? if i change the time it works.. how can i tell my perl program to watch out the timezoneduring the loop? thx ..
<5> GumbyBRAIN: would you like a wedgie
<6> i like a wedgie.
<5> i thought so
<15> Is there a way to remove installed perl modules using the perl shell?
<14> hello, when i changed the timezone on my system, and my perl program is in a loop (and uses localtime()).. how can i know that the timezone has changed, so localtime() can work with it instead of the old timezone?
<16> Kournikoza: use POSIX::strftime
<17> perlbot: remove modules > ek_
<17> stfutime
<16> perlbot: remove modules > infi
<10> titties?
<15> Thanks, BinGOs.
<14> help, how can I get the current time in "seconds with %6d microseconds" with strftime?
<18> hmm, ok
<8> hello, infi
<16> it's a pita to get to work at first, just making sure that you're not trampling the long characters, but every time I ran across a bug, it was always something I had done. it's not an incapability of either perl or the module itself.
