<0> hey guys <0> if i found a small bug and would like to submit a patch, i should have it sent to coreteam@ and netlist-devel@, right? <1> there is bugzilla.netfilter.org <2> if you want to send mail you should send it to netfilter-devel@
<0> alright, thanks guys <3> hi <4> hi <4> the default ip_conntrack_max is based on what? <3> jengelh: on num_physpages, that is: on the amount of RAM available <4> Octavian : So, independent of RAM, what is a good value of conntrack entries that a NAT router for 1.) a 24-bit 2.) a 16-bit network should have at least? <3> jengelh: I do not know any general rule, other factors to consider are number of concurrent users, traffic and so on... <5> jengelh: you may have a look at http://www.wallfire.org/misc/netfilter_conntrack_perf.txt <4> will take a look <6> LaF0rge, do you have some place to recommend where one could order an a780 from? <7> Hello. I seem to have a problem with ftp/nat helpers. I have a 1:1 netmap match, and active FTP sessions are not getting setup correctly. The PORT data still shows the original IP address, and not the network its NAT'ed onto. I running iptables 1.3.4 with kernel 2.6.16.10 <2> the ip_conntrack_ftp and ip_nat_ftp modules are loaded? and the ftp session is running on port 21? <7> gandalf_: Yes, that is correct for all of your questions. <2> and the modules were loaded before the ftp connection was set up?
<7> yes. <2> then it should work.... <7> Infact, I downed everythinhg, removed all modules, and loaded the ftp helpers before I reapplied the netmap target. <7> I have two rules with netmap: -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth1 -d 192.168.26.0/24 -j NETMAP --to 192.168.30.0/24 <7> -t nat -A POSTROUTING -s 192.168.30.0/24 -j NETMAP --to 192.168.26.0/24 <7> Everything works, except FTP. <7> Actually, I should qualify that. Everything works BUT active FTP. <7> p***ive FTP works fine. <5> hi, is there an mail admin for lists.netfilter.org here ? <3> hi <5> I've got "451 Error while writing spool file" when trying to post to netfilter-devel <8> regit: i'll look into it <4> woha, netfilter on fire? <5> LaF0rge: thanks
