<0> hi <0> anyone alive? <1> yes <0> cool :) <0> I'm trying to get the netfilter-ha stuff from SVN/branches/netfilter-ha/linux-2.6 run on my firewalls
<0> I made all needed kernelpatches apply to 2.6.15.4 and am now trying to get ct_sync compile... <0> My big question is: is there any "upgrade path" for e.g. ct->nat.info.initialized or ct->nat.info.manips as they don't exist anymore? <0> From what I've read/seen I guess that ct->nat.info.initialized could be rewritten as ct->status & IPS_NAT_DONE_MASK but know I don't know how to handle occurences of ip_nat_info.manips <0> If anyone could point me to some information about how to solve this I would be really happy <2> gug <3> hi <3> anyone an idea about this: iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m state --state RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT || iptables: Unknown error 4294967295 <3> latest 2.4 kernel with latest POM (but only a hand full modules added <4> Did you Google that? <4> IOW: I think it has been mentioned on the mailing list. <3> hmm google was useless <3> but recompiling kernel with removed quoata module worked <3> not gonna dig into it ^^ <3> a <5> did you try with -i eth1 ? <3> no didn't try, but problem is solved with the recompilation <5> ok <3> maybe i shoudl have done a mrproper before
<5> could be <5> i always do <4> Sounds plausible, yes. <3> i tend to be lazy ^^ without is faster <5> cp .config ../config.txt ; make mrproper clean distclean ; cp ../config.txt .config .... etc <0> hi <0> I "upgraded" the netfilter-ha stuff for 2.6 to apply and compile and no get a kernel panic on the slave when the first packet is received. It seems to be a problem witht he locking. in ip_nat_hash_insert write_lock_bh is called which leeds to a kernel bug <0> any ideas how to fix this? <6> hi, i need to create ipip or gre tunnels in the kernel. What's the best way to do this? Most/All declarations in ipip.c are static and up until now i was using ioctls from userspace :/ <7> ip tunnel help <7> from userspace :) <7> didn't read all you wrote before answering... <6> :-) <6> someone in kernelnewbies told me to have a look at sys_ioctl yesterday, but i couldn't figure out if /how this would work <8> iptables: Unknown error 4294967295 <8> .. when executing <8> iptables -t mangle -A POSTROUTING_eth0 -m layer7 --l7proto bittorrent -j MARK --set-mark 6 <8> .. any ideas ? <8> (gug) =) <5> recompile
Return to
#netfilter or Go to some related
