<0> I'm having what seems to be a strange problem. I have a PC104 x86 computer. When I run a 2.4.x kernel the system boots, gives me a login, lets me login just fine. When I use a 2.6.x kernel they system boots, gives me a login, lets me enter a username, but not a p***word, it just outputs "login[305]: invalid p***word for `root' on `tts/1'" and gives me the prompt again.

<13> I just installed a WinTV PCI capture card, but my computer won't go past loading the modules. I do have other PCI cards, and have taken out one that uses the same IRQ as the offending card, but that didn't work. Btw, I'm using Ark Linux with the 2.6.16-0.rc6-1ark kernel.
