It's not about my keyboard profile or any hotkey settings. It's also not in certain programs but globally. When I press F1 to F12 in xev I get this: http://pastebin.com/746926 I actually dont really know what this is, but I think it's strange that every F-keys xev output looks the same. I hope somebody can and wa <9> nts to help me. I am running kanotix but in #kanotix noone could help me and I thaught this could be a non-distribution based problem. thanks for reading :) <1> Sneaky_Bastard: nobody does now <1> fo real now <0> All you can say is "that'll learn 'em." <2> how many people here remember the Morris Worm ? <3> as news <8> UGH anyone here installed gentoo 2006.0 from the live cd ? <4> aimtrainer: what exactly are your F# keys supposed to be doing for you? <2> Google Groups has an archive of the Morris Worm thread <9> Shadow_7 for example refreshing renaming starting a new ace-solitaire game <4> what window manager? <4> or desktop? <9> Shadow_7 kde <6> http://www.hw90.meldersnet.nl/screenshot/20060530_140557.png <10> hi <10> i got a quick sed question <4> that's what she sed <9> Shadow_7 I got kde <6> right said sed <5> is this in red <6> or didnt I leave my bed <10> i'm trying to remove newlines in a file, if the line does not end in ~ <6> (or aren't we doing the rhyming game?) <9> ^^ <11> does KNOPPIX come with apt-get? <9> yea <11> aimtrainer: is that yea to my question? <5> slpyhd: no was trying some colors in this <9> yea Shadow_mil sorry ^^ <11> cool <11> how about GRUB? <6> dforesman: ^.*[!~$] <9> dont kno when i had it installed first time I think I had .. how s the other famous bootloader called again <6> or somthing like it, study a regexp manpage <4> grub and lilo are two more popular ones. <11> aimtrainer: Lilo? <9> lilo yea <11> ok cool <9> but maybe newer version have grub just google for it <10> i've been staring at regexp for 2 hours <4> I prefer grub, as I don't have to re-install it everytime I change the .conf file.
