<7> hi @all i have the problem after install kernel 2.6.16-1-k7 my systemlog says Apr 7 16:18:05 kernel: APIC error on CPU0: 02(02) Apr 7 16:18:36 last message repeated 135 times is this a hardware error or i must only boot with no apic ?

<8> hi folks - having a problem 2.6.16 under debian etch. hdparm is showing that for /dev/hda, using_dma = 0 (off). when i try to hdparm -d 1 /dev/hda, I get HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted - is this a limitation of my hardware or something in the kernel misconfigured?
