<17> PhilRod: it's the whole content of the error in case of konqueror. The same type of error occurs on "ooimpress2", create empty presentation, file -> export as pdf. I get "Sorry. Could not find mime type application/octet-stream", enter, next error "Error. No mime types installed", enter, next error "Malformed URL file:///home/safak", enter, export dialog appears.
