<8> If you need to make a color transparent, first you need to ensure that there's alpha in the image; type "/msg Wilber alpha". Then you select by color and use Edit/Clear. Type "/msg Wilber replace color" for tips on how to make the selection. Depending on the purpose, Filters->Colors->Color to Alpha may help also.
