<4> fyrestrtr: let me explain. I am installing debian into a qemu partition, and it doesnt work. i want to check the initrd image (cramfs) but the gentoo livecd doesnt have cramfs built in. I want to chroot into my debian install and use cramfs from there if it exists. is it possible>

<16> I still hav'nt found a brilliant video player for linux. Mplayer is great, but does'nt seem to support multiple audio streams in .ogm's and .mkv's - a real problem. Xine supports these, but has poor performance - sometimes for a small (3-4 seconds) it does'nt play the audio track. Also it's seeking is awfully slow
