<18> hello, as a linux user interesting in trying out gentoo, i am wondering what it has to offer me. from what i understand from the website, i can build my entire system for my particular cpu architecture and with my desired level of optimizations (ie pentium4 with -O3). does this mean i can compile the kernel for p4, xorg will be built and optimized for p4, my nvidia card drivers can be built and optimized for p4?
