<4> I have XEmacs compiled on my gentoo system If it is displayed on my Gentoo's X Sh-f2 is not acknowledged, but I can xhost the same XEmacs to my old RedHat system and Sh-f2 works. So I ***ume it is an X issue.

<4> When I export the display of XEmacs to my old computer describe key on f3 says f3 and shift f3 says Sh-f3. When I run XEmacs normally (with the display on the same computer that runs XEmacs) both f3 and shift f3 are described as f3.

<4> dracony: Describe key in XEmacs tells me what X is sending to it. It is clearly saying that it is reviving f3 and not shift f3. What action is bound to shift f3 is something different. I know how to handle that.
