<13> Hello.. I'm half way through the Gentoo installation (could be less, who knows) but I am trying to do the emerge --sync or the emerge-webrysnc and it won't let me. it's having trouble connecting for some reason. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks
<9> aikie__: a meta ebuild is a wrapper or container for a lot of other ebuilds. kde-meta pulls in all of the modular components of kde-meta . it is totally incompatible with the mono (non-meta) ebuilds. if you are trying to merge kde-meta , you must unmerge kde and all of it's deps. you can't have both.l
