<0> The_Ball: I picked that one from your line broken /usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.6/lib-org-w3c-dom.la (requires /usr/lib/libgcj.la) which seems to require the gcj or gnu java stuff. That might not be the right one though. Which packages did rev-... wnat to re-emerge?

<0> ram_einstein: If you don't want to get rid of fedora then make a new partition for gentoo and install it in a chroot jail. That according to the alt-install instructions. Otherwise you should just need the install CD.

<0> ram_einstein: When you emerge do it in two windows at the same time. The first "emerge -avDtF <pkg>" and the second "emerge -avDt <pkg>". That way when it has 50 packages the first will be fetching ('F') and the second will be compiling.
