<0> the cdrom drive is located on a raid card unsupported by the universal iso's kernel. therefore i've made my own livecd with support for it, but the tutorial i'm following does not include udev in the initrd, so i have to manually mknod device nodes it says. I don't know how to insure that the cdrom will be active by the time the livecd tries to mount the disc
