<10> are static members in template cl***es a no-no? i'm trying to define the template cl*** in a .h, and instantiating static members in various .cc files. i've been experienced gcc3.3 working differently than gcc3.4, internal compiler errors, and finally some seemingly compilable code that segfaults when running it. compiler errors include "too few template-parameter-lists" when trying to instantiate the static members. linker errors if i do it differently.. etc.
