<17> XMMS had been working fine, then one day it locked up somehow and I couldn't make the window disappear. Even 'kill' did nothing. Very strange. Anyway, I rebooted...didn't fix it...I coldbooted...nothing...finally re-emerged and it still won't display. It's running as a process according to 'ps ax' and I can click on an audio file in Rox Filer and it will play, so I know XMMS is running correctly, but...where is the damn interf

<19> i think you missunderstand the whole thing. what you mean is a gaim feature. you can close (via the X button) the main window and still are able to open it because you didn't close gaim (which sits in the systray). even with all2tray: if you close an application (wich is not the case with gaim) it is gone.
