<3> hm, I just restarted fedora and I get about 20 errors after I login, mainly about unable to write to config files or something. It really screws up the GUI as the console is all weird looking and gives errors, half the icons are gone, no menu at all, but SSH works fine, any ideas?

<4> fedorared: I was trying to mount a laptop hard drive that had / as LVM on a desktop that also used LVM. Both had something like /dev/vg/lv00 and hence the desktop wouldn't boot properly with the laptop hard drive attached during boot.
