<4> Mazingaro: You don't have to put the TFTP boot on Solaris. That should work fine on Linux. The actual installation part, where you do the rsh wizardry, absolutely, positively has to be on Solaris or IRIX or something with a sane rlogin / rsh
<7> Shadowcat, ok so wait a minute. If /dev/hda comes before /dev/sda then sda == disk1 while hda == disk0. But, this is what windows tells me, not debian. Debian tells me hda(ide) == disk1, while sda = disk0
