<16> vin`: yes, AFAIK prepare is an intermediate step of a-i (auto-install), I've tried with a-b (auto-build) and specifying -k /usr/src/linux-headers-2.6.15-<my custom suffix> to m-a to no avail (I thinks that's what cjaymes was talkig about)
