<14> mythica, the story is a long one, but basically, the guy who wrote the quickcam driver got permission from kodak or logitech to use a bit of binary decompressor ... the rest of the driver was GPL, but the kernel guys gave himne so much **** over it , he withdrew it and it no longer works, it used to work fine ... now it doenst, go figure
