I've also seen sidebars that fade black from the edge of the screen to transparency...why isn't my like that? http://www.starsfirst.com/sidebar.jpg <5> lovely <5> moduslink isn't going to start shipping vista until the end of february <5> bb, you can just ignore the last 2 lines <6> sorry i got disconnected <6> does anyone know why my Sidebar is like that? It wasn't always like that either i don't think <7> sonic hit windows key and tab <7> doe sit go 3d ? <7> does <7> if nto then your not running aero <8> it does <8> i am running aero
<8> yeah for some reason theres an error with the sidebar on my system <8> it was just transparent now it went solid <0> hi <8> anyone in here use DV-I? <8> im using it on my new monitor now things look pretty clear... <8> compared to my non-DV-I monitor my non-DVI monitor looked blurry <8> but i put the sharpness all the way up and it looks fine now <1> anyone use GPO software deployment before? in my OU, i added a a GPO, then i go to user configuration, then under software then i add in a new .msi file, for deployment. do i need to do anything else? do i just reboot my computer and it'll deploy the new software to me? I rebooted and the new software is not deployed am i doing anything wrong am i missing something? thanks for your help.. <9> hm <9> It's not allowing me to run Windows Mobility Center <9> says I need a mobile system, how does it know that? <10> is yer car moving <9> it might be, if someone stole it <11> BECAUSE IT CAN ****ING READ MINDS AND **** <2> is this a desktop? <9> yes <9> I'm just curious what makes it "know" it's not a laptop or what the requirements are for it to run, no need for getting upset :) <2> get a hampster generating wheel, plug your pc into it, hold your pc and monitor and start to run so you can make it mobile then try to run it <9> Congrats, is this your 1st? <2> because the motherboard identifies itself as a laptop, a desktop motherboard identifies itself as a desktop, it isn't rocket science you know <9> well, ofcourse I knew that - Just checking if you knew it! <2> actually I reserve being mean to those that need it, I was just commenting on the lack of common sense I sense in your questions <9> It's quite uncommon to know that motherboards report what kinda of motherboads they are. This is the 1st time I hear it, let alone from any of my geeky friends <9> I bet if you took a pole with a predetermined number of americans, maybe 1% would know this <2> funny, for years different system information programs can tell you the brand, model, and etc <9> yes, I should of stated precisly what I ment, and you know what I ment too I think. About motherboards telling the system if they are mobile/stationary <2> they do <9> well now I know that you eluted to that fact in a rather unpleasant way <2> power management needs for a laptop is different then the power management for a desktop, the OS uses that as one of the ways it can tell <9> You obviesly are very smart, I appreciated you taking the time from your life to answer an obviesly uneducated person <9> I am very bad at spelling as you might have noticed as well, but I will make an attempt to get a spellchecker for mIRC as soon as possible to prevent future problems this might cause in forther communications <2> well I see you know yourself well <9> Know thy self <9> someone said once <9> If you dont mind answering one more question in order to futher lower my level of ignorance.. Why would Microsoft not allow me to run this program, I do not see the point in doing so <10> contact ms <2> To prove pebkac is a fact and it isn't always there programming <9> well that was fulfilling <9> none the less, I appreciate the attempt <12> meeeeeep <13> oh br0adband, cant stand when ur proven wrong :) <13> I just call that ignorance <14> [08:25pm] <@+br0adband> And he better not bitch 'cause he damned well knows if I went to one of his channels he'd do it to me or some other Op would <13> not at all, u prove me wrong, I accept it <14> I never said you were wrong, now did I? <13> but if I prove u wrong, u just kick and ban :) <13> sorry bout the flood btw :) <14> You took the "That's a crock of ****" out of context, it was related to the previous point... BLAH <13> http://www.lectlaw.com/files/cur78.htm <13> just fyi :) <14> What part of "I read the transcripts" doesn't make any sense to ya? <13> ur calling the lady stupid, yes it partly her fault <13> but it was preventable :) <13> He also testified that a burn hazard exists with any food substance served at 140 degrees or above, and that McDonalds coffee, at the temperature at which it was poured into styrofoam cups, was not fit for consumption because it would burn the mouth and throat. <13> hence why she won <2> she didn't actually won, they settled <13> the jury awarded her 2.7 million in punitive damages <13> The jury awarded Liebeck $200,000 in compensatory damages. This amount was reduced to $160,000 because the jury found Liebeck 20 percent at fault in the spill. <2> McDonalds ddin't get the extra bad press, by saying they lost, (I know they lost, since they paid her) but to the world, they didn't lose, they settled
<13> according to the press <13> but thats how the press interpretted it <14> 20 percent... that always cracks me up to read stuff like that <2> I frankly wouldn't want to put luke warm coffee next to my balls <13> http://www.corpreform.com/corpreform/2003/10/the_truth_about.html <2> so I think she was a bit at fault, for choosing where to place the coffee <13> yes, hence the 20% reducuction <2> and you know what is funny, say this case never happened to her, but to someone else, and McDonalds started to serve cooler coffee, she would most likely be the first to complain the coffee wasn't hot enough <13> u cant drink coffee that is 190 fehenreit in temp <13> its burns ur mouth and throat <13> its=it <13> u have to wait until it is 135-140, 155 at the highest <13> otherwise it is not drinkable <12> wow, haven't seen you in ages, Nukey :) <10> cuz he keeps disconnecting <2> He's the Nuke of Url <15> I should call him later and yell at him <10> hows the barracuda? <15> efficient <15> in less than a week it has processed over 65000 messages, of which about 5500 were valid or got around the filter <15> but its being trained still so cant bitch about it <14> SATA II is max of what, 3 Gbps ? <15> heh, you should read the email I sent out today snapping back at the people bitching about the few pieces of spam they get in the morning <15> Over the last few days, Ive been hearing concerns about the amount of spam people have been receiving in the last few weeks. I want to ***ure everyone that the few pieces of spam you receive on a daily basis pales in comparison to the amount we actually block. Below is a screenshot of our spam filters main screen showing the amount of messages blocked, received, filtered, and allowed. <15> As I am sure you can all see, we block far more messages than we actually allow, over 90% blocked due to spam. Please remember that this device has only been installed for one week and already has processed almost 66,000 messages and only allowed 5440 (as of 8:50am on 01/18/2007). As mentioned in the previous emails last week, this device, although out of the box does an awesome job, required further tweaking to make it more efficient whic <15> Think you have a spam problem now with the few you receive every morning? What if this device was not installed? <15> Thank you for your patience in this matter and please dont shoot the IT Team, were trying our hardest to quell the tide of spam however it is impossible to stop. <15> Cheers, <15> Bill <14> I toss xp99 for flooding text, and here you are doing it... wtf mang? :D :D :P <10> its ok its for me <14> I would never have complained in the first place (at the email or the spam), but then again, I know what I'm doing... and so does Bill :P <15> then I showed them www.haes.ca\images\spam.bmp <15> it kinda shut them up <15> even had a VP go "well said, maybe now I dont need to hear about the spam issue when we're proving that we're stopping FAR more than we actually get" <13> whose bill? :) <10> bill gates <12> meep, tony :) <15> yup <15> thats me <12> hey, that was MY wave ;) <13> ur wave? <12> you already stole it <12> so how can you steal it again? <15> fack, bout time that DB backup finished <12> how ya doing, tony? <15> gawd <16> doing ok . trying to figure out what to eat for dinner . leaning towards firen up the stove with a frying pan and maken some cheese quisadillas <16> how you guys doing over there ? <12> i'm doing good <10> quesadilla <12> much much better :) <16> ?? grammarpolice <16> for tink :) <15> heh, I get to see how badly I can **** up the ERP software tomorrow, w00p <12> i'm pondering cream of potato or one of those veg soup with barley in it <16> nice :) <12> i discovered i liked barley quite by accident a few weeks ago, heh <10> pondering what to eat myself <15> <-- lubs beef and brocolli soup, just gives ya nasty farts <16> my better half over hear made beef stew , but doesnt go to well with beer . while drinken beer , i prefeer solid ffod <17> evening <12> snerk <12> i found this website that tells you how many calories in each beer <15> hrrmmm, wonder how long it'll be until I get my birth cert back :/ <17> beer is interesting <12> was quite eyeopening... especially for someone who doesn't drink <12> :D <12> heya, Joey <17> if were stuck in the desert and all you had to drink was beer you would die of thrist
