<17> I have gone through 100 different things trying to install Vista, and I finally figured out the problem (I was having lockups on boot screen): usbuhci.sys was locking up the machine. I can now boot into Vista, and sometimes I can even boot in with USB enabled, but sometimes it locks and I have to boot to a repair console and rename c:\windows\system32\drivers\usbuhci.sys to usbuhci.old. Does anyone have any ideas what causes this, an

<1> Well, yeah, that would be a good idea if you're doing a clean install... personally I always delete the partition I plan to use, recreate it, then format it, then continue
