<3> i have a wierd problem. i have a 110gb hdd, the total size of the files on it is 80gb but it only shows 4gb free so i'm missing almost 30gb. i ran a program called spacemonger that checks to see what folders contain how much data so you can see where your space is being used. it says the recycler folder contains a bunch of stuff i've deleted amounting to the ~30gb but the recycle bin is emptied. i also went into the folder and it is
<4> sux to be u
<4> try disk clean up?
<3> no but i will now...
<3> it also shows the recycle bin empty
<3> haha, well that was easy enough, i deleted the recycle bin
<0> ....
<0> So I opened a new checking account
<0> got one box of checks
<0> but two of the wallet thingies and two registers
<0> wtf?
<3> whats wrong with that?

<4> u guys use any apps for to-do reminders?
<0> outlook
<0> heh
<3> ya...same here, outlook
<1> Hunterkll: lol... uhh you fill them in when you want to deposit money, and they have your account and stuff on them all ready, so it just speeds things up for everyone
<1> ... i'll just pretend that wasn't 40 mins after you said that
<0> Ah?
<0> So it replaced actually talking to people
<0> nice

<1> Hunterkll: pretty much, go up to counter, hand them slip + money.. they say thanks.. you leave
<0> lame
<0> i like going
<0> "I want this check cashed in all twos"
<0> and getting the verrry improper responses that bankers do when you hand them a $500 check you want in all twos =x
<0> like "Are you serious?!" and "Holy ****!" =x
<0> My banks hate me
<0> "Here he comes... does he want it in all ones, twos, or sequentail fifties?!"
<0> Sequential even

<12> in microsoft word whenever i type something it types over the characters that are already there instead of just moving those characters along the line
<12> how can i fix that?
<13> hi all.. hoping someone might have a suggestion... my computer at work is on a server and for some reason outlook will not recieve an email until i switch folders.. it doesn't automatiaclly bring in emails and waits for movement in the program.. my system is the only one doing this out of 20... if I go to another computer and log in to that one.. don't have the same prob.. any suggestion?
<14> s00: Have you accidentally pressed the [Ins] (Insert) button on the keyboard? That would cause the effect you describe, and the letters 'OVR' will often be in black at the bottom of Word if this is the case - to stop it, simply press the insert key again, and it should return to normal (rather than overwrite mode)

<12> ooh
<12> thanks it is fixed now :)

<16> Im looking at my friends XP Box, and all of his icons look like Web LInks, only one click activates them.. any idea how to change this back to normal?
<17> ok I need help with digital certificates for email
<14> G8trWork: I'm no expert, just trying to help, but I think if you open a folder, go to Tools, then Folder Options, and select the option 'Double click to open files, single click to select', that should restore normal functionality (as opposed to icons as hyperlinks/web mode functionality) - hope this helps.
<16> Thor: Your a genius.

<26> do you have ZoneAlarm installed?
<24> yeah
<26> ZoneAlarm is redirecting some sites/images
<26> because they are flagged as "dangerous"
<26> it happens
<24> i see..
<24> may i post the link here then? the link that zonealarm considered dangerous?
<26> sure, but good luck having someone look at it
<24> but how can it be dangerous? its just a picture?
<26> ZoneAlarm does that
<26> it did it for me, on images i knew weren't dangerous
<26> then i got rid of ZoneAlarm

<26> just get a good anti-virus/anti-spyware and drop zone alarm
<26> SoftNoise: clicking unknown links on IRC is asking for trouble
