<pvd2006> I just tested something against myself to see if it worked. It was a security hole in windows media player. Basically you open a .bmp file and it causes an overflow in windows media player and lets you run shellcode. When I ran it, it closed windows media player. My question is, if someone was attacking me with this and i opened that .bmp file would that give them access to my system where they would be able to run any command?
