<13> I have 2 external usb 2.0 hard drives conencted to a win2003 box, they both work fine where they were but when I try connecting them to a replacement server disk manager shows nothing for the file system and does not showup in my computer, just shows one big unknown partition. <26> okay, so I had a failing drive. I got a new drive. I used partition magic to basically fdisk and format it and make the primary partition active. then I copied the files from the old drive.
