<1> you notice these things if you look at display properties
<2> yeah
<1> when something isn't displaying, that should, ti's an intersting palce to look. ;0 just for future reference
<3> Wouldn't hhought of that until I tried to boot into safe mode and nothing was there....
<2> hm
<2> how do i get it do display on the other one?
<1> I try not to think of anything
<1> set it as primary
<0> set the monitor you see as the primary display
<0> or dont display to the 2nd one
<1> or better yet, disable it. unselect "Expand my windows esktop to this monitor" or whateve the text is
<2> oh... i can just drag it over
<0> yes
<0> but that doesnt make it primary screen

<0> unless it already is
<0> and just had the taskbar on the 2nd screen
<2> the screen i was using is where the desktop icons are
<2> and where the login screen shows up on bootup
<0> doesnt mean its default
<0> ok
<0> check to make sure that default is greyed out in display properties
<3> No, you can swap that in the monitors section
<3> but looks like you got it solved.
<3> Anyways - thanks all for the information. Talk to you alll later.
<2> yeah problem is mostly solved
<2> though now im' having other related issues

<11> I can ping the other work station
<11> btw, \\ipaddress of the other workstation came back with no reply.
<11> which is .65
<11> I have turned off and turned on fire sharing on the other side and so far no luck.
<11> The probem is this windows xp pro.
<11> it cannot see the other xp home work station
<11> xp home can see its self and this pro version.
<11> Wait im not making sence. the issue is I cannot see the shared folders and printers on the xp home.
<11> I suspect the issue is on this side but so far the home version works both ways.
