<17> I just installed a new hard drive as a secondary hard drive (No data on it). I proceed to boot my machine but it just takes forever at the Windows XP screen (with the loading bar) and then reboots (Starts back at POST) Anyone know why a new hard drive would do this to me?

<15> z0rz-serv: I had a similar problem when trying to install an PATA drive on a machine that had 2 SATA drives (RAID 1 configuration). the SATA drives were referenced as default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1) in the boot.ini file, but when you added the PATA drive that drive was got ***igned that ARC path and the SATA drives got the next available one. Might be something to check.
