<4> norton == NAV/NIS is an easily tricked antivirus/firewall, which additionally slows down your system, and may even be responsible for instabilities and connection problems. If you use either of it, don't be surprised if you have problems with your system. Disabling or uninstalling it does NOT always get rid of the problems it caused!

<5> most of the "features" you see in norton or mcaffee are the reason why these scanners **** so much

<3> Paspimp: no it doesnt have all those "extra" features that norton and mcafee have, hence why its better, it doesnt have all that extra bloat added onto it
<5> a virus scanner should have only 2 features: regular automatic updates and a good scanning engine
