<0> ooh <0> Thadius is actually a junior american :D <0> better name :) <1> he's a Cadet in the Junior American League of Australia <1> JALA <0> hahaha <0> jala :D <0> !learn jala the Junior American League of Australia <0> ?? jala <2> xp99: its actually after the mobo logo....and before the winxp loading logo....can it still be the bios flash? <0> aww <1> bot's dead <0> likwid8: why dont u just TRY IT and find out urself? <2> ok <0> u should do bios updates regularly anyways <1> i've never done a bios upgrade in my life :X
<1> haha <1> well, my computer life. (14 years) <3> go to bed y'all <1> FINALLY **** im done with homework <1> time to slack off <4> now you have to redo it <4> muhahahahahaha <0> hahah <1> you better burn down the internet <1> because its all digital <0> roto is analog <4> I know, I used rm -rf / <1> xp99 is "anal"og <4> I smashed the circuit too <1> you forgot to pop the stack <1> SLUT <4> did that too <4> and burned the server room <1> i give you props <0> :P <0> roto likes logs <1> shut up puff the magic cocksmoker <0> smoker? <1> did i stutter!!? <4> roto doesn't have a manhood <4> we fed that to |P-I-M-P| a long time ago <1> umoms does <4> yo momma's so fat Bush decided to tap her for oil reserves <5> haha <6> I've been doing some hard drive testing on a new system and chkdsk was one thing I was testing out. I wanted to know is it normal to see chkdsk to report cleaning up minor inconsistencies on the drive, everytime you run it like these? <6> Cleaning up 168 unused index entries from index $SII of file 0x9. <6> Cleaning up 168 unused index entries from index $SDH of file 0x9. <6> Cleaning up 168 unused security descriptors. <4> stop pasting <6> and it's always from the same index $SII of file 0x9 and index $SDH of file 0x9 <4> sounds like the drive has a bad sector <6> it's a WD and I ran all the Data Lifeguard tests on it with no errors <0> run chkdsk with it checking for bad sectors <6> I did 'Write Zeros to the drive' with no errors and if there where bad sectors that would of certainly given a error <0> just run it anyways <4> why did you low level the drive? <6> of course I always scan chkdsk looking for bad sectors there where none <6> bad sectors was 0kb everytime <4> yo mamma's so fat the US Navy commissioned her as a new aircraft carrier <6> because low level on Datalifeguard also tests the drive for errors <0> then the file might not be fixable whatever its trying to fix <0> roto wears a pink tootoo <1> only on weekends <1> =/ <0> lol <1> ill try. <6> this is something I have come across ---> This is ok. Whenever WinXP runs chkdsk on the boot disk it will clean a few unused index entries and as a consequence the same number of unused security entries. This is normal and does not indicate any problem. <0> good then <6> I have heard many people saying they get this too all the time on their boxes without issues, the only thing was I have never had it before where I see it each and everytime I run a chkdsk is all <6> so that is why I have been looking into this <6> plus I have a Raptor 150 this is on and being a new hdd makes me wonder if there might be issues with it <0> there isnt <6> there isnt what? <6> yes there is there are issues with most pieces of hardware linked to other pieces
<6> there is no such thing as every manufacturer out there has tested their hardware on every other piece of hardware and setups and configuations <6> I don't know everything I'll admit that but I'm no pc noob either <0> its newb <0> learn ur l33t spelling <6> LOL <1> fuqn n00bz <6> it depends who you are taling to <6> talking <6> anyhow ..... <4> roto is a ****in n00b <0> newbie <1> newbie -> newb -> noob -> n00b <1> owned -> 0wn3d -> pwnd -> pwnt <0> newbie -> newb -> noob -> n00b -> roto <1> you are SO on my ****list. <0> roto: http://roto.justgotowned.com <1> i wish you death. <0> roto: http://roto.yougotowned.com <0> thats the right one <6> here is the take on this with MS <6> actually I better find the XP one too <6> ---> http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=109524 <0> well if u know the answer <0> you decide on it <5> hahaha <6> like I said I'm not a Noob <6> BUT I don't know ALL <6> :p <0> this is not a know all thing <6> please show me someone that knows everything? <6> rofl <0> u just showed the answer to it <0> so u decide if its the right one <6> actually let me grab the XP one if I can find it <0> u can decide that cant you? <0> showing us that wont make us tell you what to think <5> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owned <5> haha <6> well MS has shown things that have proven correct in some respects BUT then other things have caused problems to mimic the same effect <0> now we just dont care <7> i'm looking for a freeware mail client that supports multiple user accounts without combining all the messages into one clump. <6> isn't it normal in XP that there are always open files on the volume? <8> yes <0> AhUt: every e-mail client allows you to add in more then one e-mail client to check <7> yes but it bunches up all the emails despite having multiple email accounts (not users) <7> ie it doesn't filter the message output by user <0> AhUt: outlook has rules that u can use <6> well not sure then why the information on MS's site leads one to think that you can close them, I thought you are suppose to be able to run it from the cmd for the C: if you want to <0> AhUt: u can move all e-mail that comes in if its from a certain account that you check <7> yeah <7> thats true <7> but then my other family members would have access to my email (non-filtered) <0> thunderbird supports profiles <7> most excellent <7> how do you switch between profiles ? <0> are u running windows xp? <7> yep- <7> x64 <0> just give them their own user account then <7> ok <0> dont give them admin access, they wont need it <7> i have never known how to create different users on a windows machine since i'm an only child <4> more like only idiot <4> but ya <0> lol <7> i'm an idiot because i've been the only user for my own computer since win 3.1 / <7> computers <0> AhUt: users control panel, use that <7> i know that i can add users etc <0> if u install thunderbird, it'll work with every user that logs in automatically <7> but if i add users i'd want to partition a portion of the hard drive for the "family" group of users to use for themselves <4> yes it's called permissions <0> AhUt: that would mean you would have to move their user folder, sure its possible, but u can google for how to do that <7> i created the users for the mozilla-thunderbird profiles
