<0> the other line, which is teh interweb, goes to a DLINK router, that crashes all the time, because it's a dlink
<0> and it randomly reset's it's nat rules when it crashes, thus disabling all kinds of services that i use when i'm out of the office

<0> internet is 6/768
<0> oh we have a switch
<0> dell something something 10/100
<0> oh but, the byproduct of this arrangement
<0> is of course each desk has two jacks, one for the phone network and one for the computer network
<0> of course....when those got installed, about half were labeled backwards
<0> so i had to spend like 2 hours tracing ethernet without a cable tester

<0> heh
<2> since when do vibrators need a cd-rom and to be hooked to a PC's COM port
<2> http://asap.ap.org/data/photos//a/ASAPTOYS1020330165216213-small.jpg
<3> Mag69: Presumably that one can be programmed with different vibration settings.
<2> strange
<0> and/or controlled remotely
<4> ****ing migraines. ****ing insomnia.
<5> anyone know how to *get* a user's scriptPath using LDAP queries? i try to use GetObject(ldap://userdn) and use the objUser.GetEx(scriptPath), but it gives me an error saying property cant be found in cache. any ideas?
<0> Tomomi, have you tried drunkenness?
<4> Gimp-Work: No. Does nothing for me.
<0> that ****s
<0> do you start seeing textures?
<4> No, no aura **** (nausea, brite lights and sounds).
<4> Just a headache that lasts 1-2 days. I'm on a medication which decreased the frequency and severity of episodes is milder, but occasionally I still get some bleedthrough.
<6> Tomomi is on the menstrual cycle.
<4> I got one for christmas, unfortunately it is missing an arm -- the hand which points to the one raised foot, symbolizing release from ignorance. Go figure.
<0> lol
<3> Tomomi: I used to get wicked headaches nearly every day. What helped for me is Zyrtec.
<4> Not famialiar with it. Depakote is what I use.
<3> It's just a daily allergy medicine.
<1> "Depakote: It's not just for migraines!"
<7> "do you go to sleep and wake up in the morning?" then depakote might be for you. ask your doctor about depakote
<8> "Life got you down? Take new improved Damitol!"
<9> I have a buddy of mine that forgot his bios p***word and he is using a labtop. I dont want to have to take it apart . To reset the p***word. It is a newer Phoenix bios . I have tried Hiren's boot cd 7.9 and there tools and no luck. I would like to know if there is any you would recommand.I have tried on Hiren's the Bios Cracker 4.8 and it did not have his Bios Version on it. So I need a Up to date Bios cracker. Can someone help me out ?
<8> laptop BIOS p***words are often a mother to break.
<8> contact the manufacturer.
<8> what brand/model laptop ?
<4> "I have a buddy..." It ALWAYS starts that way.
<9> I am not sure what model
<9> cause he is in my college coarse
<9> and I am not going to see him till Tues again
<8> the phoenix bios means nothign, phoenix licenses a generic BIOS that the computer makers adopt to their hardware.
<8> then whats it matter to you?
<1> Just open the damn thing up.
<1> It's not that hard.
<8> he should contact the manufacturer
<9> well I am trying to help him out
<8> skoal; what good would that do?
<9> I need a general upto date Bios cracker
<1> I don't have a great deal of scrollback.. isn't this a BIOS p***word issue?
<9> is what I need
<8> typo555; newer laptops have their bios's setup so they aren't easy to crack.
<9> Yeah I know
<1> Don't they still use jumpers to clear those p***words?
<8> in fact, if you lose the 'disk' p***word to a IBM Thinkpad, you can just toss them out.
<8> skoal; nope.
<1> oh horse****.
<8> the p***words are usually written into the flash BIOS these days, NOT the cmos nvram.
<9> on Hiren's the Bios Cracker 4.8 did not work we tested it on other bios that where a little older and it worked fine
<9> you all have any kind of bootable program that would work ?
<9> and also he does not have a floppy
<8> typo555; you have a reading comprehension problem?
<8> CONTACT THE LAPTOP MANUFACTURER
<8> they all have tech support that can deal with these sorts of issues.
<8> he'll need proof of purchase, probably.
<9> k
<4> Why design in a system that is meant to be worked on by a technician so that any fruitloop can move jumper that he shouldn't be twiddling. This is a laptop. No user servicable parts most likely.
<9> well I am looking for a program so if I have this issue again
<9> I will be able to basically do it
<9> without the h***le of contact the Manufacturer

<0> why make it so MSSQL installs fail if there is a value in pendingfilerenameoperations
<8> whatever. I'm looking for a program that can make me millions of dollars while I do nothing.
<8> Gimp-Work; that means there is an incomplete install, and the system needs to reboot to finish it.
<8> what if one of those files to be renamed are one of the files that MSSQL was going to update itself?
<8> you'd be double-****ed.
<4> I just don't accidentally install a bios p***word and write it in a safe place. No problem with recovery there.
<10> wow.
<10> i'm gone 20 mins, and not onething typed
<8> [enough time to take my daughter to school, and get to the espresso joint so I can get my morning triple-shot-n-scone-n-wireless fix :D

<8> that depends on what you mean by 'alive'.

<8> fawk, down to 40 minutes battery life.
<8> gonna have to log out and go to work afterall, I forgot my charger :D
<13> ok, i`m getting and error while trying to upgrade to xp sp2, that setup cannot continue due to third-party kernel...
<8> I've been thinkinng of renaming this coffeeshop 'building 16' :D
<13> and i dont got a custom boots screen
<8> [I work in building 14 at work]
<13> any ideas?
<8> third party kernel?
<8> huh?
<13> thats what i`m thinking
<13> :P
<8> what the exact error message/
<8> ?
<13> sec
<8> crap, I was gonna get another doppio, and now there's aline out the door :(
<13> Windows has detected that one or more protected core system files (kernel) on your computer have been modified. The Service Pack contains updated versions of those files, which work to provide a stable environment for your programs. Due to this modification, the Service Pack will not be installed.
<8> hmmm.
<8> sounds like something has been hacked on your system
<13> that crossed my mind to
<8> boot your XP CD, choose 'installl', then 'repair existing installation', and let it rip. then do the service pack install
<13> but ad-aware and virus detection comes up with nothing
<8> adaware is nearly useless these days, too many rootkits and ****
<8> sysinternals.com has a rootkit detector that might find something, but the hackers are even hiding fromo that now
<13> hmm
<13> i will try that
<13> thanks =)
<14> peerce: What evidence do you have to support your claim that russinovich's rkrevealer is beatable?
<8> i thought I saw something the other day that a new RK was fooling rkrevealer by hiding even deeper in the system
<14> I'd love to read that if you can find it.
<8> muahahahaha. from a catalog of motorcycle accessories popular with the touring bike set... a 'analog GPS' :) http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/Analog-GPS-p-17418.html
<0> rawr
<14> AFAIK, it doesn't GET any deeper than what Rkrevealer goes
<0> heh peerce
<0> those are fairly hard to use
<8> "Not included are required declination charts (call for details) or the extremely accurate watch you are going to need to use this thing. Meets R.N. standard 3329-5 of 1787."
<8> I have a couple friends who are sailors who know that stuff
<8> ah, line gone. brb.
<8> hahah, 'more images' is a picture of iit mounted on a vintage bike.
