<1> if you don't have paste then just stick it on and lever down, that tape square is thermal compound, there might be a clear film over it so remove that first before placing it on top of the cpu

<7> stainer72: Generally they are colored to indicate a seperate bank of memory in a dual-channel memory config; if you aren't doing dual-bank ram, you need pay them no attention.

This is amazingly useful in that programs cannot interfere with each other (overwrite files, read registry entries, etc), and perfectly complete uninstallation is as simple as deleting a folder.
