<5> MY PINK CADILLAC WHEELS <2> no <2> the wheels my "my little pony" written on the lip <2> wheels have* <4> Crap... I can't find what kind of connector it has... umm... well its smaller than the connector for the old linksys wireless card I have... <8> Doesn't bandwidth cost enough where yousendit couldn't support all those transfers by having the weak ads that they have? <8> or is bandwidth just that cheap now? <2> huh? <8> Gimp: I can send 100MB files easly to tons of people via yousendit.com <2> it's prolly akamai'd <2> or something <8> someone goes to that site to get their file I sent, they get a little ad shown <8> The rev from that ad wouldn't be enough to pay for all that data xfer would it? <2> that or it's running from VC and it's gonna fold <0> yea, i'm sure they use akamai or one of the other's <8> gimp: What does "akami'd" have to do with anything? <0> Cody-Nap, bandwidth distribution <8> and I know of akamai because they buy 100000000000000000000's of machines from us <9> ack <2> awww little cody <10> totally <2> ok i seriously need a smoke <2> bbl <2> goddamnit i'm out grrr <10> daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa <10> the reason I bring up yousendit <10> is because my buddy took shots from karakoe (sp) last night <10> and now I'm looking at the shots.. they're funny as hell. <5> Cody, you want a link on zzyzx.com that sez, WE HAVE TAKEN OVER THE SERVER PORTION OF ZZYZX.COM. PLEASE CALL US SINCE OUR PRICES ARE 2/3'S LESS. <10> no <10> becuase our prices are generally 2/3's more :( <10> hehe <10> I just noticed that the ads that were to load on yousendit.com when I got my link.. <10> they never came up :( <10> I almost feel guilty <4> WOO, alright found it. My wireless card has a reverse-sma connector <4> So... i'm guessing one end of the co-ax has to be regular SMA, then a male N connector on the other end <10> I wish there was a way to show someone a pic but not have them save it. <5> first time i ever had to pay my own health insurance :( <5> oh well, its part of my company <4> welcome to the world of crappy jobs <4> or good jobs with crappy benefits <0> Slanter, why are you privmsg'ing me? <11> ok. spacin time. duplex. router to switch. both fasteth. half or full? <0> full <11> because me 1700 says duplex mismatch whether I set both sides to auto, full or half :) <11> that's what I thought.... <11> but oddly ping times are faster when it is set to half :) <11> damn dell switch :) <12> wait <12> dell switch and cisco router? <11> yep <11> known issue? <12> you want auto, unless you have a cli into the dell to force it to full/100 <12> i'm ***uming the dell is dumb <11> I can force either side to full <12> oh, then 100/full forced both sides <11> well yes, of course :) <11> and oddly the 1700 still spits our duplex mismatch errors and the pings are slower than when both sides were half. bizarro :) <11> it's cwazy <11> cwazy I say <12> amazing the 1700 can do that at all, seeing as the logging of duplex mismatch is typically done via CDP only <4> umm.. cause I asked the question previously in the channel and nobody responded, so I send you a message on the off-chance that maybe you were just afk. figured it was less intrusive to the channel than just repeating the question over and over until you noticed. <12> perhaps dell is supporting cdp <11> I am consoled in. the term mon is spitting them out. what's surprising? <0> Slanter, you didn't ask the question, i asked you what connector you had and you said, "i don't know" <12> that the csco can detect a mismatch since it has no idea what the other end is set at <11> it reports the other end too, as I recall <4> ... actually I replied up above. first I said it was a reverse SMA connector, then I asked the exact question that I sent you in the PM <12> *shrug <11> :) <11> on the 1700 duplex choices are half-duplex and full-duplex. I take it it is Auto if I have neither commands on the interface, right? <12> i have plenty of ciscos talking to 3rd party switches and never once have i seen a duplex mismatch error we clearly we've had one (as evidenced by crc errros and what not) <12> if i mismatch a cisco switch and router, cdp is the mechanism that reports the errors
