<18> r0xbury, http://slax.linux-live.org/download.php, download, burn, boot. then just go to your /windows directory and copy the stuff out of there to somewhere else, even on same windows drive will work, just make sure to "chmod -Rv 777 /directory/you/copied/to" to ensure full read+write+etc privileges
