<0> [hs]kreml ok as soon as you turn on power... it checks ramm .. post all that good stuff ... it boots drives.. i.e hd cd rom and diskette ... then ??
<6> go to Data Sources in admin tools, and create a 'User DSN' for the database, then use Excel's query tool.... if the query tool itself is greyed out, that means you didn't install it with Office, its a optional extra

<6> you'd have to 'sysprep' before you moved it, thats a util used by OEMs' for preinstalls, resets the IO stuff back to where its halfintsalled so it will reconfigure on reboot

<6> is it a dell? they have hardware diagnostics, and usually have good warranties (I generally buy 3 year warranties with brand name gear like that, after 3 years, its obsolete anyways)
