<4> Phr0z3n it's not a file which controls that. it's individual service activations, and if you're using Routing and Remote Access rather than Windows Firewall, you have to specificly punch holes through the fw for ports if you have the option for Basic Firewall enabled
<6> deryl; we use a router with built in firewall, just was taking a look at netstat, (netstat -a) and saw a nice set of ports; that windows can open/close etc.
