<4> z0g: It should. Even though there was 4 months, it was still kind of short notice. I think almost a year's notice should yield a higher success rate. Plus some people were willing to help out and even though they said so on the list, some people didn't seem to know.

<2> The coolest **** I saw at CES was some odd oriental company who has developed a FIR (far infrared) material, which is entirely transparent, and can reach temperatures of 360 C. They had a prototype running at the show. This little coffeepot was completely transparent, all you saw was two little solder joints on the bottom plate, no metal heating element at all, and the water was boiling like hell
