<0> FKnight`: At this point, the most likely point of failure is in microsoft's court.

<2> People are still posting that Eagle in the Koran bull
<0> i wanna learn asterisk sometime. at one time i tried getting it installed on my wrt54g. but i wish i had the wrt54gs because i dont think the regular g has enough ram for dd-wrt as well as asterisk
<3> what is asterisk
<1> they're getting a WAP but no wifi sip phones yet
<1> for us
<1> Hollygrl: open source PBX
<0> to get asterisk on the 16mb wrt54g, i think you need to use stripped down openwrt and install packages individually
<4> Performance:

<4> * Burst I/O from cache: 148,000 IOPS
<4> * Sustained I/O rate from FC media: 53,200 IOPS
<4> * Sustained throughput from FC media: 795 MB/s
<3> ?

<3> what is pbx
<0> private branch exchange
<4> telephone exchange

<7> http://www.asterisk.org/
<0> do you have a job? do you work at a company? do you understand the needs of an office when it comes to a phone system?
<5> or do you just ask a whole lot of stupid questions?
<1> he/she was prolly just curious :D
<0> you need voicemail, automated attendant, call routing/forwarding, maybe least coast routing or automatic call distribution (ACD)
<1> our trollostats are set a little too low there, guys :D
<8> anyone else watching the masters?
<5> it's the line of questioning i'd expect from a two-year-old.
<9> http://www.picbux.com/image/ddi338828.jpg <- haha.. wtf
<1> hmmmm
<4> um, I'm getting a text URL
<1> it doesn't LOOK overly offensive
<1> but it says <9>
<5> it's not overly offensive. it's definitely a "what the hell is up with that" picture though.
<0> And anyway, what companies like NEC/Nitsuko, AT&T, etc, will charge thousands or tens of thousands of dollars for, you can do for maybe hundreds using Asterisk
<9> http://www.picbux.com/image/ddi338871.jpg <- heh.
<0> I dont think I'd run an entire business on Asterisk, but at least its cool to have your own in-home PBX.

<10> is there a way to compress a zip file holding a .wav smaller byte size?
<9> http://www.picbux.com/image/ddi338903.jpg quite the anal angle.
<4> nikkie; you'd get much better compression of audio using something like MP3

<10> oh ya
<5> the .zip is already compressed. what would you expect?
<10> i wonder why they arent doing that
<10> :/
<4> you'd get a BIT more compression unzipping it and compressing the original WAV with RAR using maximum
<4> but thats *SLOW*
<9> http://www.picbux.com/image/ddi338918.jpg <- which one would you tap?
<1> Last cigarette was 16:00 Eastern.
<5> these last two images don't load.

<1> that's the last "smoke group"

<1> yeah :D
<8> and being ready to quit
<1> well
<1> being ready to quit is it
<1> period
<1> regardless
<9> http://www.picbux.com/image/ddi338976.jpg
<0> well, technically i didnt do zyban to quit, im doing wellbutrin for depression. so its not something like a temporary course of pills which ive taken then stopped taking, im on them all the time.
<5> most of the addiction is psychological. if you can't get past breaking the mindset, quitting is much more likely to end up failing.
<11> azure what is that? lol
<4> Ted-Lap; I've used, um, cricket, works quite nicely.
<4> cricket-sniper
<8> i quit over 4 years ago and haven't touched em since
<0> i'm at the point where I can be at a bar, drinking a beer, and still dont want to smoke. took awhile to get to that point.
<2> And how many cigarettes did you have on Friday?
<0> i dont think many
<9> hehe.
<1> pale_blue: yeah
<4> thank fawkin' god they banned all smoking in bars and restaurants in california. 5 years later, the stale smoke smell is about gone from most of them
<0> you know, this past weekend was a slight unusual, i dont smoke.
<2> Resturants I don't mind. Bars I would have a problem with.
<1> Cuttin' the weed down to four bong hits per night too
<0> and i didnt have my prescription with me as well. i was thinking about seeing if publix could transfer it to a local pharm up there
<1> and two joints on the weekends
<5> i think in the last 10 years i've averaged about 3 cigarettes per year.
<2> I mean hell ... I voted for the ban in Resturants here in FL when it was done like 4 years ago.
<0> i definitely wouldnt have touched any smokes if i had my script filled
<9> http://i1.tinypic.com/s0zs7b.jpg omfg
<12> hah
<12> 95 parts left to order
<0> its funny how some restaurants have coped. like the ale house...
<12> $1,947.02
<0> the local ale house now has more outdoor seating then indoor.
<12> and $543.23 in paint
<1> I can't say I agree with the smoking ban. At least not as far as it being an amendment to the state Constitution. This should be something regulated at the minicipal level.
<1> *municiple
<1> *whatever
<5> municipal.
<2> FK, well yeah ... but this is FL ... everything gets done via constutional ammendemnts
<1> thanks
