<0> she almost locked us out of the house. that bitch
<0> what's funnier, her scream, or that a chick outran some guys ? :P
<0> gnite folsk
<1> heh
<1> bees scare me =/
<0> yeah that was a fun year.
<0> bored? lets go play with the wasps
<0> we did the gasoline thing too. they flew a few feet and just hit the ground wings on fire or soaked in gas
<2> why did god make beehives flamable
<1> heh
<0> not enough air for gasoline to burn underground
<0> so it only licked at the top
<0> they had time to get out
<1> sartan: when the guy down the road did it
<1> ****ing flames jetted out of the end

<1> maybe it wasn't gas
<3> hi! which windows 2000 version has dhcp server ?
<1> probably naptha or somthing
<1> was years ago
<0> haha sweet.
<4> all of them?
<0> loocek: Server
<3> I have win2kpro, but I don't see any dhcp server in network components...
<4> thats because
<4> DHCP is a server protocol
<5> unless you use ISC
<5> ICS even
<0> no ideas.
<0> =(
<1> i should **** up some underground bees this year.
<0> dhcp relay agents on w2k pro? :/
<4> ok
<6> loocek; internet connection sharing has 'dhcp lite'. there's no visibility, it just works.
<1> sartan: help me make 8 pounds of thermite.
<4> i got my new turkey callers
<6> and no controls or nada.
<3> win2000 has ICS ??
<0> PigmonkeY: yessir. lemme go to the green acres store to pick up that fertilizer.
<1> thermite is iron oxide.
<6> PigmonkeY; thermite is easy. zinc or magnesium powder, and iron oxide, 50-50 is close enough
<1> it burns at like 5000F
<0> i'm outta. ta
<3> which win2000 has ICS ?
<1> peerafk: i want to make a large quantity
<6> loocek; yes, you can share a internet connection with it.
<6> win2000 pro
<1> ohhh i know.
<1> i know a guy with an explosives license
<6> PigmonkeY; ok, more magnesium powder and iron oxide.
<1> maybe i can purchase a white phospherus greande from him.
<6> 50:50
<1> that would surely do the job
<3> peerafk: but I wat to share for two cards (2 computers)
<1> and wreck the property i ptu it on
<1> but it would be awesome
<6> its tough to light. magnesium ribbon will do it.
<1> peerafk: i have some primacord somewhere
<6> but most fuses don't get hot enough.
<6> and primacord just goes bang
<6> good for blowing up bridge legs
<1> i have heard pouring the thermite on top of a lit cigarette does the job.
<6> but would probably just spread the thermite ithout ligting it.
<6> no way.
<6> gotta be WAY hotter than that.
<6> magnesium ribbon will do it.
<1> hm
<3> peerafk: but I want to share for two network cards (2 computers), and win2000 doesn't support bridging :/
<6> I've done thermite
<6> loocek; share for two. huh>
<1> am i going to need to pour water on the magnesium ribbon to light it?
<5> fire will light magnesium
<5> like, a match
<5> sodium would light in water
<6> loocek: internet ------- [nic1]{computer with ICS}[nic2]------(hub or switch)---lotsa other computers
<3> peerafk: but I haven't any hub or switch :)
<6> loocek; so GET one, geezus. you NEED a switch for any real networking.

<3> peerafk: yeah yeah, I haven't money
<1> neither have i =/
<6> http://computers.search.ebay.com/ethernet-switch_Networking_W0QQcatrefZC12QQfromZR8QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsacatZ11176
<6> loocek; then why aren't you trying to get a job instead of ****ing with computers?
<3> peerafk: I must do this by software
<6> you must?
<6> good luck.

<1> 1P 50!
<6> stupid to do it that way, and it won't work well
<1> er
<6> even if you COULD
<1> $1.72
<3> though I can install dhcp server and configure two networks, yeah ?
<6> http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-10-100-5-Port-Fast-Ethernet-Network-Switch-Hub-L6_W0QQitemZ5876490188QQcategoryZ51268QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem $5 for a new 5 port 10/100 switch
<6> loocek; you can? how?
<3> internet<--->nic1[router+dhcp]nic2<---->192.168.1.0
<3> internet<--->nic1[router+dhcp]nic3<---->192.168.2.0
<3> yeah?
<6> I doubt that will work
<6> router. yeah, what router?
<6> you got a router? problem solved, most all consumer routers have a 4 port switch built in!
<3> oh...gateway..sorry
<6> I don't believe the ICS in win2000 pro can NAT route two subnets
<6> you could probably do that with linux, after quite a bit of ****ing around with iptables
<3> yeah I know, but I must have windows
<6> but its a horrible way of networking.
<3> ...for applications
<6> a $5 switch would be much better.
<3> :)
<6> http://cgi.ebay.com/D-LINK-10-100-5-port-fast-ethernet-switch_W0QQitemZ5874805502QQcategoryZ73321QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
<3> ok , I'll ask... which win2000 support port mapping ?
<6> huh?
<3> ...beacause I will need this too
<3> port forwarding
<6> pretty much all versions of ICS supports port forwarding
<3> service of port forwarding
<3> oh, ok
<6> win98se, etc. in 98se, there was no user interface, so you needed to eitehr edit registry entries, or use a 3rd party util to set it up.
<6> in win2000 pro, the internet sharing configuration has a 'services' panel for that.
<3> are You sure that windows 2000 doesn't support NAT route for two subnets ?
<6> add ports, tcp or udp, and the local host to process them.
<6> loocek; i've never seen it work. afaik, it supports NAT for 192.168.0.1 MASK 255.255.255.0 only.
<3> aa, ok
<6> go mow a lawn or wash some windows or something, earn enough for a switch. geezus.
<3> one more question.... has win2000pro dhcp server or not ?
<6> ahahahahaha. "You caught me Alan, I tried to **** your sheep." http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0307062sheep1.html
<6> ICS has a simple built-in DHCP. there are no user controls, its just on if ICS is on and its settings are quite automatic.
<3> yeah, I know that, but I ask if he has a independent dhcp server ?
<3> like in win2000 server...
<6> no. you want full featured DHCP, you need windows server.
<6> or unix.
<6> or linux.
<6> dhcpd
<3> ok , thanks :)
<7> what is everyones opion on window blinds and bootskins.....i am thinking of putting some one my CPU\]
<8> i like windows blinds, hell im using it right now
<7> do they slow ur computer down?
<9> waste of CPU
<9> i don't even have a wallpaper, wastes memory
<7> hey phiz what do u mean?
<10> phiz: well you're right about that
<5> indeed
<10> he just has a solid color for a background, not a bitmap or jpeg
<7> oh i c....well i have 2g or mem...i think i am ok
<9> i have 1 gig of ram and I can still tell the difference
<5> doesnt matter when those resources are getting used by the GUI
<7> i am just worried about bugs and cause the system to crash
<5> it will still slow * down
<7> but if all else fells and i dont like it....i can always change it back right?
<9> i can usually tell when something is hanging and causing heavy resource usage
<9> that's when you are glad you don't have stuff like windows blinds
<9> *window
<7> what about u chez....do u ever have any probs?
