<20> hi, Ive just compiled a new vanilla kernel for 6.06.1 LTS from kernel.org, I used make oldconfig, and then menuconfig, to activate SMP (followed this guide http://doc.gwos.org/index.php/Kernel_Compilation_Dapper)
