<11> (sql2kent) I have two tables .. in my sproc, I'm using the LIKE operator to compare a string from table 1 to a string from table 2 .. like .. is 'Roger' LIKE 'Rog%' .. the tables have hundreds of thousands of entires in each... what is the best way to speed up this query? It's quite slow right now.. is full-text indexing good in this scenario?
