<0> boa tarde <0> bye
<1> Does anybody know if its possible to have a "refuse mail from selected relays" database in which the database file has IP addresses and hostnames only and uses the same reject message for them all? or can you only do a map file with ip/hostname and desired message for each? <2> see access_db <1> tnx, will dig some more... on there now, but it only shows the example for the standard "spammer.com $#error..." format <2> You can customize the error. on the LHS, you can also have an IP address. see cf/README <1> yes, I've been using that for long time... setting up a new machine with latest sendmail and instead of duplicating the same message hundreds of times, thought maybe I could have a database of JUST ips & hosts and fix the rule to spit out the same message for any found IP/host instead of grabbing it from the db
<1> and avoiding all the replication <2> Write a script to generate the file <1> ya, for new entries I just copy an existing line and change the IP/host... just seems silly to replicate the same message thousands of times. no biggie, will leave it as is. thanks for the help (again and again) :)
