<0> i dont see why not <1> Hey peeps !! <1> Anyone know much about RFC 2812 ?
<1> Got a problem doing the HandShake with a IRC server <2> use irclib <1> I'm writing my own bot and I can't complete the handshake <3> BooBooBil: Handshake? That's like send two lines.. get a few lines.. IIRC <1> hmmm, my computer is acting up.. brb, need to restart <0> sounds like windows <1> ya :( <4> K, I'm back.. <4> So, for my hand shake to connect to an IRC server I'm sending ("USER") & ("NICK " + NICK) - but it does not work. I got that from someone else code
<4> RFC 2812 document did not help <4> no one alive >? <5> learn the irc protocol <2> irclib <2> there's no magic solution to your problem other than properly learning the protocol <2> which isn't really a Python question <6> earle: well if i use the build process used in swig/Examples/python/cl***es (on mac os x ) then get a dynamic library (which is, i ***ume, the end result on other platforms as well.) so i did that, then i ran my program with embedded python, and tried to import it, but i just get an error saying the module doesn't exist. it does let me import modules that are installed properly in python's module directory. however in the normal py <6> thon shell i can also import modules that are just in the PWD, obviously.
Return to
