<2> Preity, I was buying a TV yesterday and I went to 3 stores, 5 Buddist monks were shopping and went to the same stores. It was kind of strange, I would look around in the stores, and there they were, again!

<7> Well, my mother taught me early about that stuff. She told me that giving money to people who beg, is not doing them any favor. She said it only encourages such bad behavior. She said if you want to do something .. give them a meal or a job, but never give them cash. And if they are rude to you, to tell them that your father worked hard for that money, and they should do the same.

<2> CometBaby, I do find in perhaps half the cases where people ask for food that they are grateful to get food. Many just walk away when offered food, because they were just loking for money to buy booze with.

There in the medium sitting on the cement (it had to be close to 100 degrees out) was a very young girl and a brand new baby. The father was mooching from cars at the light. Can you help me out for the sake of my baby?
