<3> look. if you wanted to know whether teachers were "underpaid" you would have to evaluate how much they are paid, to start. this can only be done by accumulating all their salary and benefits and dividing them by the number of hours they work. then you would have to subjectively evaluate the difficulty/satisfaction level of their job. then you would have to determine the supply and demand of their job.
