<4> i actually did plant strawberries. i got nice lava rock for them to grow on. then, the rollyppolly bugs took over the little ecosystem i had, and they ate all the strawberries. i gave up, paid 2.99 for strawberries at albertsons, and let the bugs have the straswberries
