<aPhan> could someone help me out real quick?
<Elrahc> Hello
<Elrahc> I was wondering if someone could help me with this: a screenshot of the website I'm doing look paler in adobe than in the browser
<DJ_HaMsTa> http://www.files.digitaloverhaul.com/logos/logos.html which one looks best for a banner ?
<aPhan> 3rd one down
<DJ_HaMsTa> its going here http://www.digitaloverhaul.com/
<aPhan> so you'd be changing the rest of the layout?
<aPhan> because what you have now is good
<feral> 1st and last look most professional
<lopan> Anyone know where I can find a replacement plastic sheet for my intuos3? I finally figured out what scracthed my board....my damn cat jumping up on it
<lopan> :(
<A1_sauce> haha
<Echoes> cats are evil
<Echoes> no respect for anything =[
<lopan> it's brand new
<lopan> 9x12
<lopan> two bad scratches, you can see the black under the grey plastic layer ...I was tripping out about it all night
<lopan> now I have a new small one
<lopan> Can I replace this sheet?
<lopan> I had the board for far too long to send it back....just didnt have time to use it
<lopan> when i hit the scratches my brush mark still flows but it gets jagged
<lopan> I wanna just rip this grey plastic off and replace it
<temp1> need a simple logo redesign, let me know if you're interested
<lopan> **** this is so upsetting, I think I'll take my **** tablet and beat my cat to death with it
<theoo> lopan
<theoo> you can buy a replacementsheet for it
<theoo> by any certified wacom dealr
<theoo> I replaced my intuos3 a5 sheet
<theoo> well, the guy at the wacom-place did
<lopan> theoo why can't I find the replacement sheets?
<lopan> got a URL?
<theoo> sec
<lopan> I need to replace this before it gets damaged beneath
<lopan> thank you!
<lopan> I spent about 4 hours the other night searching and couldnt come up with anything but sheets for older models
<theoo> I'm not sure if you can buy ones yourself
<temp2> need an opinion on a logo redesign....
<theoo> But I replaced mine for 32eu
<temp2> here's what I have now...
<temp2> http://www.chromaclub.com/images/chromaclub.jpg
<lopan> no, I'll replace mine...I just want to know that my board isnt messed up
<lopan> ive had it out of the box for 3 days
<theoo> haha
<lopan> and there is 3 big scratches in it :(
<lopan> damn cat
<theoo> obviously your cat didn't like it ;p
<lopan> hehe, ......!!!!! AHHHHH
<lopan> my company bought it for me, cuz ive used my mouse for all my airbrushing for many years
<lopan> all my sketches too, using just the solid line tool
<theoo> Hmmm
<theoo> Where you at?
<lopan> in the states
<lopan> cali
<theoo> k, you should call any wacom distrubution near you, I did the same thing
<lopan> ok very good, thank you
<theoo> Since you can't buy the sheets just off the internet I think.
<lopan> whats the easiest way to get this current sheet off?
<theoo> Since it needs professional care, or w/e.
<theoo> No idea, it's glue'd
<theoo> I didn't do it, I let some guy at the wacom place do it
<lopan> isn't it just like the transparent sheet for the ituos2 ?
<lopan> intuos2
<theoo> Wait what heet are we talking about, the grey sheet?
<lopan> yup
<lopan> isnt it similar?
<theoo> I can't tell :x
<theoo> I never had an intuos2
<theoo> never seen one
<lopan> me neither, but I've been reading up on it
<lopan> spent a whole night, becuse I was so upset
<lopan> im gonna cut my cats legs off
<theoo> hehe i can imagine :\
<A1_sauce> what kind of stuff are you putting out with this intuos that your cat had to scratch ti to stop you?
<lopan> my drawing area isnt affected..it's already too big
<lopan> it hasnt stopped me, just upset me...i've used nothing but a mouse for 8+ years
<lopan> this is 3 days out of the box
<theoo> ah
<theoo> I've been using it for a couple of months now
<theoo> loving it
<theoo> And airburshing... well no idea how toodo it on the computer
<theoo> I do it on paper :p
<lopan> im already used to it except for the movement area...the drawing area I shrunk down in photoshop so it matches my usual sketch area..but when I goto a new tool
<lopan> I usually bounce over and use my mouse because it's much faster
<lopan> need to program these buttons
<theoo> Yeh, thing is, I use the intuos with my left hand, and the mouse with my right
<theoo> So, I can hold both, and work that way
<lopan> I was just trying to sketch at 300dpi, that isn't gonna work
<lopan> I'm still in the experimental mode
<A1_sauce> uh
<lopan> a1, I aint that bad....wanna check out a sketch I was working on just using the line tool and my mouse?
<theoo> http://foshizzle.org/hoi/images/project/newzbin/logo_normal.jpg
<theoo> LOOQ!
<A1_sauce> lemme see
<A1_sauce> im bored
<lopan> that's an hour or so of just the line tool and lower the opacity and going back over it
<lopan> with my little mx310
<A1_sauce> kewl
<A1_sauce> now do the rendering, i wann see :-P
<lopan> not too bad eh?...this wacom will allow me to do that much quicker hopefully
<A1_sauce> i was thinking of gettin one last week
<lopan> yea, the rendering if I can follow through will be pretty bad***...but I haven't ever done that :)
<lopan> that sketch I sent you was my first ever, with most of the body face etc
<lopan> I've always done just faces before that and practiced on hands...still learning how to do anatomy
<A1_sauce> i never got over faces
<lopan> heh looking for the sketch I first started with on that one I sent you
<lopan> it's completely 2d looking, I learned a lot from just sculpting that one
<A1_sauce> lemme see if ym dcc works tonight haha
<A1_sauce> i need to sleep actually
<the-drew> hey sweety
<A1_sauce> how much you got yours for?
<A1_sauce> heheh drew... what happpened to you?
<lopan> my wacom?
<the-drew> im embar***ed to say this but i need some help with some style sheets
<A1_sauce> yeah
<the-drew> got locked up for a couple weeks
<the-drew> found jesus
<the-drew> you know, that kinda ****
<lopan> i got mine with a lot of hard work
<lopan> bunch of guys from work bought it for me
<A1_sauce> and did you loose himagain this time?
<the-drew> i look at it like this
<the-drew> he lost me
<the-drew> im not gonna beat myself up over him bein a pansy all the time
<A1_sauce> hm
<the-drew> a1, what do you know about css
<A1_sauce> almost none
<A1_sauce> in fact none
<A1_sauce> sorry, cant help you
<lopan> I know a lot about css if you need something
<the-drew> man jesus said that same **** to me
<lopan> my fortee is web page design and coding
<the-drew> lopan: so is mine
<the-drew> its pretty advanced ****
<lopan> css is?
<the-drew> my css dilemma
<lopan> css isn't much of anything, just a building block to my ajax
<lopan> what's up?
<the-drew> because the right and left are faux columns
<lopan> i'll have a look it just a sec, trying to find a jpeg
<the-drew> i absolutely positioned them
<the-drew> therefore if they stretch longer than the middle column
<the-drew> the footer's laying on top of them
<the-drew> i dont know of any way to make them hold their space short of floating the left one but that still wouldnt solve the problem with the right one
<the-drew> and im not changing the markup, because im big on seo and i like for my content to come first in the code
