<0> mac or pc <1> both! <2> pacintosh <0> mc <3> Hello <4> I have been playing with pixel art recently, and I was wondering if there was any sort of "trick" or method which allowed easy scaling (larger) without it appearing as zoomed in (i.e. pixel blocks getting larger).? <5> hi all <6> hey all <1> hi <6> hey kyle <1> hi <7> hi <1> hi <7> just got home for shooting with my new cam <7> still learning the camera <1> what did you get?
<8> kiss my *** <7> i have a d70s <7> but today bought a proper tripod <7> manfrotto 3011n with a 3030 head <7> its kind of a big head, but i studied film and video in undergrad so im used to larger tripods and tripod heads <1> nice <7> i have a contax 35mm setup but film is so... expensive <7> now i gotta get cs2 and do some HDR images <7> pretty much looks like this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00011WJU2/sr=1-6/qid=1154835693/ref=sr_1_6/002-7043742-8974437?ie=UTF8&s=photo <1> slick <7> have you seen the new LED lighting systems? <7> ive always used tungsten Lowel dp kits in the past <1> not for photography <7> but LED can run of batteries in the field <1> yup <7> i should do weddings so i can buy more photo stuff <1> are you allowed to help yourself to the booze? <7> see, i like photography and music... and if i spent $3000 on a guitar and amp, id pull in 50-300 a week <9> Hey All <7> but with 3000 in photo gear, its like 500 a week doing weddings and stuff <7> not that id ever do a wedding <7> and its a lot easier to shoot a wedding than it is to play guitar in a bar where half the people want to hear skynyrd <1> hahaha <1> FREEE BIRD <7> best thing to do when people request skynyrd is play a neil young song <1> hah <9> Does anyone know a way to create pixel art in vector format, so that when it is scaled up it will still apear in that "pixel art style"? Does any of this make sense? haha! <1> HOLY COW <7> **** it, trebek <1> heh, draw a bunch of small squares in vector? <9> I know I know... <9> haha <7> depends on how pixely you want it? <7> get big enough pixels and a streamlining plugin will probably make good paths <9> Say any of this stuff... http://www.habtips.com/pixelart_GommeInc.php <7> ***uming you want to dump it into illustrator and then send a service bureau your file <7> try this, dude <7> http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/pdfs/creating_vector_content.pdf' <7> minus the ' <9> hmmm.. I already know how to vectorize it. However, after I do so and attempt to scale the selection up it just appears as if I zoom in. Is there a way to maintain the pixel aspect ratio (if thats the correct term :P) so that it always appears as it does at it is original size, only bigger. <10> hello, i'm having a bit of trouble creating an effect.. trying to create the double underlined M in this picture --> http://www.hwhq.com/hwhq/grfx/whiteGAMER.gif <-- .. i've done the horizontal but not sure how to trace the same width underneath the M. <11> whatchu mean? Is it on a different layer? Copy it and drag it down... <7> after you vectorize it, group it <10> hmm, yeah but i see how its got two lines.. not sure how to reproduce the lines to match the shape of the M <10> can you convert a selection to a path? <12> how do I paint yellowish leaves in green colour? <12> http://www.geocities.com/f0rumsss/flower.JPG <13> _joey so <13> i've selected the leaf <13> copy on another layer <13> then working on this <13> image>adjustement>replace color <13> with the eyedropper i've add the brown color <13> and replaced with a grenn one <13> to match the other green i've looked to the rgb green value with info pannel <12> I see <12> with what did you select it? <12> the leaf <12> and how did you create a new layer, I never used photoshop :) <13> l***o tool <13> and after selected ctrl+c then ctrl+v and you have a new layer
<10> _joey <10> i've done it for you <12> [flanque] could you please email it to alexgn@gmail.com <10> too late <10> i closed photoshop <12> :( <10> took too long to respond to my generosity <12> Oh, well <12> I'd leave my shots untouched <12> http://www.geocities.com/f0rumsss/eucalyptus.JPG <12> is this picture any good? <13> uhm <13> for me no <13> the tree is overexposed <13> you have shoot at noon <13> never shoot at this time <12> at about 3 pm <13> try early in the moring <13> or at the sunset <12> why? <12> do you like the light better at those times of the day? <13> to shoot natural subject <13> the time is very early in the morning <13> ora a the sunset <10> _joey, im sorry but i do not like your picture either <13> the light at this time is more soft <13> and no so hard shadow <12> that's okay, I don't mind critisism <10> keep trying tho <12> Ophidio and picture you get usually are slightly underexposed <13> i prefer expose fot highligt <13> so yes <13> normalyy e little bit underexposed <13> but i shoot normally landscape <13> and portrait <12> Ophidio is this any better ? http://gallery.photodesk.org/main.php?g2_itemId=356 <10> Ophidio, do you have some samples online? <13> look at this one <13> http://www.photo4u.it/album_page.php?pic_id=88910 <10> yes but that's been photoshoped <13> yes you should work on left side of photo to got mor light in the shadow <13> onlyt he border <13> normally i postwork not so much <12> i have some macros too <12> which were not photoshoped <13> this one <13> is photoshopped <13> for get softness <13> http://www.photo4u.it/viewcomment.php?pic_id=62443 <12> http://gallery.photodesk.org/main.php?g2_itemId=129 <13> was shooted <13> in teater <12> http://gallery.photodesk.org/main.php?g2_itemId=89 <13> god subject <13> but i prefer shoo when subject is in shadow <13> no direct light <12> I see <12> I can't differentiate subtle differences yet <10> here are some of mine, some are just from friends: http://community.webshots.com/user/flanque <13> http://www.photo4u.it/album_page.php?pic_id=48978 <12> I can judge if I like the pictures or not <10> this one in particular is mine --> http://community.webshots.com/photo/98780284/1098781805051092766olAmHN <10> as is this --> http://community.webshots.com/photo/98783800/1098784658051092766znQxzx <10> and this --> http://community.webshots.com/photo/98780093/1098779984051092766czKcvr <12> nice pictures underwater [flanque] <10> thx <10> not all are good actually <10> underwater can be very difficult <12> Ophidio what were you telling me about the shadow for this picture? <12> http://gallery.photodesk.org/main.php?g2_itemId=356 <12> just off the screen was a house, an ugly old house <13> on the left side <13> you should work in photohop
